Last month, Vulcan, CenturyLink and Tabor 100 hosted the 2018 NW Minority Business Expo—a free event open to the public to learn about women and minority businesses in the community.
This year, the event featured 54 vendors providing a range of services and products including marketing, environmental services, safety products, construction supplies, catering services, staffing services, business consulting, and IT and software services.
“Vulcan and Tabor created this event several years ago to provide a platform where local minority & women-owned businesses can showcase their products and services in a casual business environment,” said Matthew Mauer, Government & Community Relations Associate at Vulcan Inc.
Anthony Burnett, President of MBD Staffing also added, “This year’s event was tremendous! The attendees enjoyed seeing new businesses that are looking for opportunities to partner with larger firms in both the public and private sector. The participating businesses represented themselves well as they look to add new clients and expand their network for future opportunities.”
