At the recent Judkins Park Community meeting, neighbors shared positive feedback on a project information board that was installed at the corner of 23rd and Jackson. In response to that feedback, Exxel has posted additional bulletin boards at key intersections around the jobsite. These boards communicate construction updates, noise variances for concrete work, recent construction photos and project contacts. We will be updating these every couple of weeks or as new information becomes available.
With our utility work in 23rd Avenue completed, we are continuing to coordinate project access and work with SDOT through weekly meetings. This week SDOT continues work to replace the east sidewalk, crosswalk across Jackson and the northbound lanes adjacent to our project. In anticipation of SDOT reopening the east sidewalk, we are installing overhead pedestrian protection to allow for safe passage during construction of the Jackson Apartment project.
Additional SDOT project updates and contact information can be found on their website: https://www.seattle.gov/transportation/projects-and-programs/programs/maintenance-and-paving/current-paving-projects/23rd-ave-corridor-improvements.
